Dear Parents and Carers,
Harvest Festival and Harvest Mass
We are very lucky to have celebrated a wonderful Harvest Family Mass in Church last Sunday, and the children read and sang beautifully. They were a credit to the parents and to their school.
We also celebrated two joyful Harvest Festivals this Thursday and Friday. We had singing, dancing, poetry and art to entertain us and the children certainly didn’t disappoint. Thank you to the staff who worked so hard to prepare the children, and to the parents and grandparents who attended. We will be taking your kind Harvest donations to the Open Door charity and they are always so grateful to be on the receiving end of your generosity.
Health & Safety Reminder – No Smoking & No Vaping on Site
Please could we politely but firmly remind parents that we have a strict no smoking and no vaping policy. This extends to the car park. Thank you for you support in this matter.
Mufti Day – Wear Yellow for St Margaret’s
On Friday 8th November, we are asking our staff and pupils to wear yellow mufti for a £1 donation to St Margaret’s Hospice. This is a very worthy cause, and one that is close to many of our hearts. Thank you in advance for your generosity in helping us to support this charity.
A Message from the School Office
Please can we remind you to return your child's Data Collection Sheet if you haven't already, in order for us to make sure all the information we hold is correct and up-to-date. This will ensure we can phone and email you with important information about your child’s welfare and education.
Tissues
It is ‘runny nose’ season and traditionally, parents have been very generous in sending in a box of tissues to their child’s class to ensure children can be comfortable in wiping their nose when the need arises. If every parent sends one box, the boxes combined usually lasts the year and the children really benefit from having tissues available. We appreciate your support with this and hope you will be happy to assist us with the request.
Dates for Diary
Please see the dates for our Christmas celebrations, such as the Carol Concert and our EYFS and KS1 nativities, which have been added below. Please add these to your diary so you don’t miss out!
