7th February 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Parent’s Evenings

We are looking forward to welcoming parents and carers to our teacher/parent meetings on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th February. Many of you have already booked appointments to see your child’s teacher. This will be a great opportunity for you to find out how they are getting on at school. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time for your booked slot and don’t forget to pop into your child’s classroom to see examples of their hard work this term.

If you have yet to book your appointment, there is still time to do this. The bookings will close on Sunday evening at 10pm. If you have any difficulties with logging on to the school website to book your slot, get in touch with a member of the office team and they will support you in booking an appointment.

We will be selling second-hand uniform (shirts, polos, trousers, shorts, skirts, pinafore dresses and jumpers) at the parent’s evenings next week, so have a look to see if there is anything suitable there that you require. There will be a donation pot, so please bring along some cash/coins so you can make a donation. Thank you for your support with this.

Ordering Hot Lunches

The office staff would like to remind parents and carers that the cut off day for ordering hot lunches for the following week is Wednesday. On occasions when you have forgotten to order hot lunches, it is essential that you provide packed lunches for your child the following week.

The cut-off date for ordering hot lunches for the first week back after half-term is Wednesday 12th February.

Thank you for your support with this.

World Book Day

We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 6th March with details to follow.

Red Nose Day

We are pleased to support the upcoming Red Nose Day. We will hold a mufti day on Friday 21st March 2025. Please send your child to school wearing red with a suggested donation of £1. Click here for further information on how your money helps, how to get involved and for online access to the Red Nose Day shop.

Keeping Contact Details Up to Date

Occasionally, the school office needs to get in touch with parents about their child. It is important that we have up to date contact information for all families so that we can inform you of any incidents or emergencies. Please can you contact the school office as soon as possible if you have had a change of phone number, email or home address and we will update your child’s records as a matter of urgency. Thank you for your support with this.

I hope you have a restful weekend.

Best wishes,

Edwina McDonnell

Headteacher
